I apologize to any of you who listen to the Unnamed Path Podcast. I've been way too busy to get any podcasts recorded. This time of year is usually crazy for me. This time it was travel, illness and lots of business coming in on my website (which I am VERY grateful for).

I think I'm going to put out a podcast this week at some point if I manage to get all my client work done. I can easily put a podcast out on seership practice or on the divination system of the Unnamed Path. So I'm going to try to do that. I can also put up the pathworking to meet the Dark Goddess - since that's already written out.

I've been busy actually teaching people the Unnamed Path in person - go figure. I currently have about 6 students. And they are in three separate classes so it's a lot of time taken away from my schedule. But then again, the original reason I did the podcast was as a substitute for in-person teaching. And now that I'm teaching in person I'm really doing what the Ancestors wanted me to do - so there you go. :-)

My hoodoo teacher along with about 17 other rootworkers started an association for independent readers and rootworkers. It's a big resource that basically acts as a directory for rootworkers and for readers - along with codes of ethics, guidelines of what to expect, etc.

I'm going to participate in it, but it's a bit of a financial commitment. It's $100 a year and it is linked up with lucky mojo so I'll get lots of visibility so it's worth it. As part of this, however, I want to have my own personal site and such, up to par. I want to implement a new shopping cart program that will automatically integrate with paypal so that I don't have to send individual invoices (money requests) to clients after the fact. I'd like the process to be seamless. Also, I want to determine what the site will look like and not be so limited by templates as I currently am.

Another part of this is that I need photos of work that I've done for my clients. I'd love to get some candle spells in action, a spiritual foot washing, an uncrossing/spiritual cleansing, maybe a photo of me preparing a mojo bag, and perhaps a fire cleansing on a client (for IMPACT!) So I might be asking/offering for some of you to get free work done, or maybe offer a discount in return for allowing me to photograph you as I do the work.

I just got home from the Long Beach rally against Prop 8 and I am PISSED OFF! First of all, the people who are organizing these things are either total pussies or they are plants for the police. They start by having us gather in a PRIVATE parking lot at a bar, then walk down ONE SIDE OF THE STREET (don't cross that yellow line!) and wait for the lights to change to green before proceeding! We walked about 5 blocks, then they dumped us out into Bixby park where they had music playing at a stage for us to dance to.

WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS BULLSHIT?!?!?!

This is not civil disobedience, this is, in fact very civilized OBEDIENCE!!! Fuck that shit!!!!

As long as we obey the law...
As long as we stay on the right side of the street...
As long as we aren't an inconvenience to anyone...
As long as we abide by police demands...
As long as we continue to hide our faces in a shady park...

We will be oppressed.

We need to rise up, block intersections, inconvenience the masses, shut down the whole goddamned city, commandeer a bus, flip a police car, light some trash cans on fire, and raise bloody hell!!!

Until we prove to the sleeping masses that we are fucking nightmare to be reckoned with, a viper's nest that has been disturbed, a killer bees' nest that has been knocked down, we will continue to be ignored, oppressed and treated like second-class citizens.

I call for the resignation of every motherfucker who was involved with the planning of today's Long Beach Proposition 8 protest. I call for their immediate apology to the community for being turn-coats and pacifying the populace, betraying their gay and lesbian brothers and sisters, standing on the side of the cops and "keeping us nice and tidy". They are traitors to our people and should hang their heads when they walk down the street!!!

And I call for the abolishment of church privilege in this country. No more tax free status. They are to pay their taxes as a consequence for their involvement in politics. I also call for a repeal of the voter-initiative system in the state of California. Direct democracy leads to the tyranny of the majority which was why the original framers of the constitution accounted for this with their 2/3 majority amendment process, and the filibuster process.

No minority in the state of California is safe any longer. We can put a proposition on the ballot to change the constitution to outlaw women's rights to vote, or a Mexican's right to own property, or even a Vietnamese person's right to ride the bus. How about we abolish Mormon marriages? Or maybe we should amend the constitution to eliminate the term marriage at all?!

There is only one conclusion to this Prop 8 battle... and that is retribution. The conservative Christian bigoted assholes won't know what hit them, but they will pay a hefty price for their action. Either they'll lose their right to marriage all together, or we will tidal wave gay marriage across all 50 states in one swift move by the courts. Watch... because justice will happen. My gay ancestors will be avenged, and the living members of my brotherhood will cheer and cry tears of happiness for once in their lives.
